Come and improve your game! This workshop is ideal for ALL players. Whether your new to opening traps or want a greater understanding of how they can help you win, this workshop is not to miss! Learn tricks that will better prepare you for each game and what to do when you are on the receiving end of them.
And learn from the best: Grandmaster Varuzhan Akobian, current American Open Champion and coach to the 2010 U S Olympiad Chess Team, will be flying in from Los Angeles, California to conduct this half day workshop. Akobian will be joined by Super Trainer Shiva Maharaj, recommended both by GM Akobian and GM Victor Mikhalevski, Israel’s Bronze Medalist at the 2010 Chess Olympiad. Numerous students of Shiva are Warren Chess Scholars.
Together, these outstanding players will take you through tricks and traps that work for them and make for greater success on the chess board. Chess sets and a light snack will be provided. Please bring your chess clock if you have one.
